Wounds
Wounds are just ways
To reveal us.
It's why I always try to
Hide them away.
It keeps me alright.
It's my shameless truth.
I'll keep on crawling,
Even though these wounds scream it's over..
I wore the mask that grinned, but never lied.
It shaded my eyes,
And hid my cries.
This is why I hide the wounds,
To keep myself alright,
And it's why I'm still alive...
To reveal us.
