We're All Just Traffic

Everybody has to wake sometime
Even if you don't grow strong enough to breathe a relief of a sigh
Even if you don't make it through birth you still have to die
We all  start down the same road
Maybe some of us have better shocks
Maybe some of us are lite enough to be towed
Maybe some of us aren't made enough to make it down this old road
You can take the left lane you can brake or swerve right
You can limp down the shoulder or drive with your lights off at night
You can pack any baggage that you please
You can break down and live life on your knees
You see we're all headin' down this old road
A lot of us don't care enough to pack cables for a jump
A lot of us ride too damn close
A lot of us watch out for those bumps
Then there's who don't give a damn about a signal
They run their selves against the wills of other people
You see this old road leads on down into the future
No body makes it there without the rot of growth from manure
We're all travelin' down the same old road
