Where Did I Go Wrong

You were just sitting there,
Being all cute and lovely,
I walked up to you,
And you smiled

I said hello and you nodded,
Then I got brave and asked you to dance,
You got up and took my hand,
And took me to the yard

We stood there for a minute,
Then you embraced me,
And we danced the whole night,
I was happy as I ever was

A few weeks later,
You stopped coming 'round,
And I got worried,
So I called you

You never answered,
So I left a message,
When you called back,
I heard another voice

I asked what you were doing,
You said nothing,
I asked again,
Then the phone went black

That you did something wrong.

I went home and cried,
