Fear of Another Ice Age
solid breath sticking chest
into these flickering statues
annoyances of the worth while
for wind as health after birthing a child
whether cotton or pressed leather
bare, brisk, clever or thick
dawn of whatever is nice for winter to exist
no matter in once green Saharas
or in swamps with no castles to drown underneath
the world has more than twice frozen over
now I sit as it melts
so what of the next century
the melting’s been so long
what cycle will there be
the enjoyable would doubt
how the world will once again FREEZE
