How sick i was when i smoked you..
it is only now I realize
how sick I was when I smoked you
your fragrance filled my life
and by your essence I was consumed
like a bird in winter my reason had flown
south to find a more companionable perch
A monument to the strength of LIES
I was all the days i smoked you
and in your dark hold i lay entombed
where no good light would find me
but a speck of TRUTH did one day alight!
and from you i struggled free
little did i know what torture lay ahead for me:
rotting flesh seemed to fall from striken bones
as i lay in guilt
and felt
the withdrawals of a hundred indulgent moments
I lay in the guilt i was due
I breathed you in
I breath you out!
and it's only now I realize
how sick I was when I smoked YOU
how sick I was when I smoked you
your fragrance filled my life
and by your essence I was consumed
like a bird in winter my reason had flown
south to find a more companionable perch
A monument to the strength of LIES
I was all the days i smoked you
and in your dark hold i lay entombed
where no good light would find me
but a speck of TRUTH did one day alight!
and from you i struggled free
little did i know what torture lay ahead for me:
rotting flesh seemed to fall from striken bones
as i lay in guilt
and felt
the withdrawals of a hundred indulgent moments
I lay in the guilt i was due
I breathed you in
I breath you out!
and it's only now I realize
how sick I was when I smoked YOU
