Guardian Angel

This is it,
this is your time
To say good-bye
You have always been there for me,
and now I'm here for you
Although when you leave me forever,
I will always greif for you 
You lay in your hospital bed,
and whisper that you love me
My eyes start to sting,
I close my eyes
And let the tears slwoly roll down my cheeks
I grip your hand,
trying to make you stay here with me,
you just gentley squeeze my hand and smile 
Then you take your last breath,
and close your eyes
You slowly fade away from life, 
as your soul goes and live among the angels
Your hand loosen its grip,
all of my emotions are tied in a knot,
now I start to cry
I'm still gripping your lifleless hand,
staining it with tears
As a wave of greif and sorrow passes through me 
I let go of your hand, 
and pull myself onto my feet,
with all of my strength 
I whipe away all of my tears,
and hold my head hig,
thinking that I will always have you in my heart
Slowly and unwillingly I walk away,
with love and grief
Knowing I have been there for the best
I will always remeber you,
As forever for the person who you were for me,
