Dark Side of the Mountain
I traverse the dark side of the mountain
Walk the path through shadows unknown.
I traverse the dark side of the mountain
Here I live, here is home.
I traverse the dark side of the mountain
Each time discover beautiful secrets untold.
I traverse the dark side of the mountain
With each step new sights unfold.
I traverse the dark side of the mountain
Where at times I feel alone.
I traverse the dark side of the mountain
To catch stray beams of sun so bold.
I traverse the dark side of the mountain
Appear at open valleys sweet.
I traverse the dark side of the mountain
Glimps the oceans glimmer under sky's blue sheet.
I traverse the dark side of the mountain
None can fathom my dark side trek.
I traverse the dark side of the mountain
To learn to appreciate when life gives its best.

This is a beautiful write of a journey, not only a real journey but there are things hidden in the dark too. Pieces of glimmering light that you hold up....Nicely done!
