I'm a fussy literary critic, and it takes a measure of command of the language to leave me with an impression.  With this work...so simple in its execution...you have impressed me.

I do like the repetition of the "Until" which provides an emphasis on the durability of your love.  As you may know, the concept of "until" in a love SONG (and probably some poems) has occurred historically, as for example in the song called simply "Till"...

Till the rivers flow upstream
Till lovers cease to dream
Till then I'm yours, be mine

You are my reason to live
All I own I would give
Just to have you adore me

But your usage is ORIGINAL and new, to me.

Always one to appreciate simile, I appreciate your use of "like a figure skater on newly polished ice."
