Terrified to go
terrified to leave
terrified to stay
consumed and drowning

in fear standing alone
looking
breathing high in my chest
not looking

holding tight
wishing all away
away from this fear
my fears

inner most
deep rooted
historical
reflections

stand still and feel it
I mantra
within and to
myself

bravery contains fear
and to continue on
into this
feels against my nature

yet this is my nature
my nature
is to be brave
inspite of my fears
