I stand here watching you there..
I am helplessly forced to a distance..
You scream for help as I try to run to you, but each step I take you run further the other way..

So i learned that if I just stand still you can't go any further..
You look at me and beg for a hand to reach out to but when i reach, you lash back further still..

How can I help if You just run away each time?..
I scream "DON'T GO!!", and yet you run faster still..
You have locked yourself away in a glass box..
I stand outside waiting..
Prepared to do all I can for You as soon as you step out..
Until then I stand here watching you there..

You cut..you cut deep..
And each cut you make becomes a scar on me..
Can't you see?
I do understand..
I feel your pain..
I know what it's like..
You walk to the edge..
I take the fall..
