The last verse is fantastic. I especially love that phrase "the traffic of perpetual ascension." I'd pretty much forgotten the days when you still used a pair of full stops before and after each line. I can't say I miss the technique, but it was a nice little trip down memory lane. This reminds of some of Nirvana's lyrics. No doubt it's the string of surrealist images, which convey a somewhat terrifying whole. Sorry I missed this piece before.

yeah i thought those last two sentences worked great perfect ending.. yeah i still use the two stops in writing all the time.. as you can see.. <------

haha yeah its just a bad habit i got myself into trying to use different techniques and experiments in punctuation and such.. this one ive been stuck on for quite a while it actually take concentration and effort not to do it..

nirvana lyrics? huh? interesting comparison but this was 2005 so by that time i wasnt into nirvana at all but im sure i have some residual inspiration since i did listen to them constantly for years.. from when grunge started in 91 till it ended in 94 kurt was grunge and when he took his head off with a bullet he took down grunge with it.. though i must say you should check out the new alice in chains album even though their original singer died of a heroin overdose they replaced him with quite a good singer.. took em 17 years to find him though heh

That first verse if no less that fucking amazing. There's these sounds that repeat that echo in deep tones in that hollow feeling of that verse...it's beautifully devastating.
