Today, Tomorrow, Yesterday

Today’s just yesterday’s sorrow
for today is my last stand of tomorrow
everyday’s pain has been borrowed
all to avoid the darkest hour.

What pain shall breathe for me today
lurking in pitch black in open water
hollow dusk leading the way
perpetuity has shortened my hour.

My pain can never be forgotten
recycled agony deep in my sorrow
damping the soul to press on
burying my face deep in horror.

Today, tomorrow, yesterday
pain grasping my sorrow
so similar in everyday
why can’t I bury tomorrow?
