A Beautiful Day
The sun rises
The morn bird soars
The magnolia blooms
The myrtle sings
And the brook dances
Over the hills
Across the fields
Beyond the plains
And my heart hums
To the tune of love
As droplets merge
In pit of lobe
Cascading
Flow ing
Gliding
Into fruit valley
Nipping tender peaches
Sending shivers
Down silky limbs
Further down
nuzzling honey dew
Across the path
Resting for a split second
To form
A cool fountain
Trickling
Rushing
Gushing
Swaying
Over autumn blooms
Of golden berries and nuts
Dispatching
Silent troops
Of
Goose bumps
Over velvet satin
Easing down further
Still,
Finally
Kissing sleepy toes
With the promise
Of much anticipated
Pleasures
Ahead.........
The morn bird soars
The magnolia blooms
The myrtle sings
And the brook dances
Over the hills
Across the fields
Beyond the plains
And my heart hums
To the tune of love
As droplets merge
In pit of lobe
Cascading
Flow ing
Gliding

Nipping tender peaches
Sending shivers
Down silky limbs
Further down

Across the path

Easing down further
Still,

Kissing sleepy toes
With the promise
