I am a wave
Crashing into the beach
Over and over again
Beautiful and graceful from a far
Dangerous and dirty within
The rock face I meet
Once had character
Nice and neat
As I crash into him
Day in and day out
I'm slowly killing him
Without a doubt
I am a wave

I live near the shore
The worst place to be
Screams of terror surround me
All with help from my own hand
Blood now covers the lovely sand
