A Moment
Breath in, breath out;
my eyes close and
I'm embraced by the darkness.
Breath in... ... breath out;
my body relaxes whilst
I show no expression, no movement as
my heartbeat slows -
pitter, pat... pitter......pat........pit...
Breath in... ... ... breath out;
my thoughts disperse and dissipate yet
fear, worry, regret remains a
brief moment, then all is silent.
Breath in... ... ... ... b r e a t h o u t;
a moment of total awarness -
then Peace.

You have good insight, too. I was going for the last breath then dying thing. I'm glad another view was brought forth.

Thank you very much. I tried to show death can be a peaceful process, and not to be feared (as according to some philosophies).
