Lost Memories

Once upon a time not too long ago,
the sun set and the moon came
trees got knocked down by the wind's blow
and I looked out the window in dread and shame
but the crickets lightened my feeling
so did the sky's bright stars
and the earths dark ceiling
maybe you were looking where ever u are
I knew I would grow up soon
but I lost my best friend
this loss filled no fills me with gloom
a spark in me came to an end
now I have only a memory
What happened? I wonder in doubt
I wish life was still a fantasy
I wish time wasn't running out
I wish this wasn't my reality
