Our Fairy Tale
There once was a beautiful girl, She lived in a small home between her father and a lady named Pearl. She always dreamed her prince would appear, so she waited and waited for 27 long years. He had his eye on her; never knowing her name. He wondered of her background, and of where she came. They crossed paths on Smithdale Ave. And this became their tale.....Handsome and proud, he acted unconcerned. Cheerful and giggly she was able to turn. Turn, that is, her attention to this "familiar" stranger. Having heard the stories for years, she knew he might be danger. This man thought he'd had 'em all. Until she stole his heart and he started to fall. Getting to know her, he realized she was different. No other woman could even be close to equivalent. She inspired him to live his life with more meaning. He was so sure she'd just end up fiending. This beauty was real, inside and out, He'd change his ways or else she'd pout. She would state her reasons until he understood. He realized she'd never let him get as high as he once could. After fall's season passed, they were stuck together at last. The beautiful girl was with child, His prayer was answered, now he'd stop being so wild. Dreams were becoming reality. Until early winter when he got stopped by the county. Days turned into weeks and emptiness filled their hearts. 'Till he showed up one night, nothing could pull them apart. Relieved and excited, a wedding was near. Their love you could see, feel and hear. Valentines Day, they were man and wife. Thank God, together we'd saved each others life. The beautiful girl became the Angel whom saved his life. The handsome prince was her protector from evil and strife. Their baby was a constant reminder of their never-ending true love. Happily ever after, the must've had a blessing from the good Lord up above. This tale is a true one believe it or not. My husband and I still love each other just the same as when we fell in love if not more but it was a long road of pain and heartache before we ever made it to that point.
