Have you ever just thought about your religion. Was it forced on you as a child or do you really believe it. My name is Samantha and as a child I did believe. Until we found out my brothers were raped by there farther. My faith for him slowly went away. I look at this world today and I think how could someone so great let so many get hurt, raped, and go hungry. I do believe today that he is in fact real. Its just sometimes I don't. It is just hard for me to keep faith. I do pray that one day I will have all my faith back in the good lord. Please if you have anything to say that would help my faith please tell me.

Ones faith can't take away evil of others my friend and having faith is simply like being in a team you can't always quit every time you lose but keep hope in your heart..earth is a ground of tests and temptation,man got free mind in which we can choose to do bad or good and noone can change that

All the bad things that happen to a child ..."are not the childs fault" and that should be taught rather than the child feel guilt over something beyond their control.
I learnt that my salvation was between me and God and that alone. That God is often misrepresented to give us expections beyond what is realistic.
God sets us free to be ourselves by being in us and around us but not interfeiring in everyday life otherwise it would be divine fascism controlling our every move. Then we would feel impotent.
Generally if we do good because it pleases God and then we feel good because it boosts our brain chemistry. If we do wrong and ask for forgivenous then we are forgiven and our mind is set free.
However I get the feeling that if we keep doing wrong that whilst he might forgive us the beneficial side effects are cut off because our brain starts eating itself knowing that it should have been doing good.
The thing is that if we do our best to be good and are at peace with that then we have to aknowledge that the world is full of shitheads who we have no control over.
All we can do is feel pity for them and enjoy being what we are. You will be stronger for it.
