APATHY

The walls around get smaller
I can feel my veins begin to crawl
It's feeding time again isn't it?
I thought the sound of your voice would never show

Your apathy for my cries
I felt nothing but dense cold
Your emotion has always been lacking

Casting aside,
my bitter jealous groans
I choke down everything that I hide

Slowly fading
