Tumor
A cancer courses through us
always
We try to hide
burrow away
But it finds us
Always
I hate to see all the smiles
Filled with tubes
Now turning pale
They hold out they little hands
Begging for something to save
With wide eyes
They say WHY ME?
Always
In some form or another
They must be going crazy inside
Just waiting
To live
Or die
I remember
So much family going through this
So many nights unsure, crying
Always hoping for the right call
I hate the thoughts
So many...
always
We try to hide
burrow away
But it finds us
Always
I hate to see all the smiles
Filled with tubes
Now turning pale
They hold out they little hands
Begging for something to save
With wide eyes
They say WHY ME?

The Climax
Can we ascend forever?
Past the clouds in our minds.
Past the storms that rife us with guilt from out past.
Into a unseen world, where we are in fact peaceful?
The sun shall smile on us.
Our time will indeed come.
A perfect merge from this thick fog.
The future is perfect.
This feeling of completeness is all that is needed
Then we will drift inside the climax
Forever--
Past the clouds in our minds.
Forever--

In Frozen Twilight [North]
Sheet the world full of ice
send the cars to crash
cause the people around you to scream.
Slowly slipping deeper within the frozen--
Statues that once smiled,
cry in frozen place.
Full of brittle bones and shattered flesh.
Tears falling down like rain.
killing so many innocent--
So unaware that the moon has fallen...
Crestfallen and cratered.
Inside the sky frozen and stealing so much.
Everyone pressed against one another, in hopes to breathe their air.
The ones able to stay alive,
await the twilight.
Felt their final breaths as they...
send the cars to crash
cause the people around you to scream.
Slowly slipping deeper within the frozen--
Statues that once smiled,
cry in frozen place.
Full of brittle bones and shattered flesh.
Tears falling down like rain.

Death Will Find You
Death Will Find You
You inspired to be something more,
but death followed you.
You were beautiful,
you were something meaningful.
But, smiles hid the truth,
I bet you knew.
The day blackness clouded you.
Bullets rang over your head
You ran outside
horrified by life
but you survived.
For now . . .
You withdrew a little--
Continued on and pretended,
that life was normal.
You threw yourself back into what you knew.
You loved life again, maybe you grew inside the denial.
You let down your guard and smiled again....
You inspired to be something more,
but death followed you.
You were beautiful,
you were something meaningful.
But, smiles hid the truth,
I bet you knew.
The day blackness clouded you.
Bullets rang over your head
You ran outside
horrified by life
but you survived.
For now . . .
You withdrew a little--
Continued on and pretended,
that life was normal.
You threw yourself back into what you knew.
You loved life again, maybe you grew inside the denial.
You let down your guard and smiled again....
