wilting
a whisper
of a question kept
secret
far too long
a flower
blooms inside a
cave
that the miner hollowed, all wrong
for each fleeting ray of sun
a flurry of snow and freezing wind
for each glistening raindrop
a black night devoid of stars, hiding the moon
for each face remembered with fondness
a reflection tired and used, no trace of joy
for each cherished memory
a storm of instances that ought to be forgotten
a curtain
over the wall which
hides
the man in disguise
a petal
falls
for every day the world
can't
dry her eyes
of a question kept
secret
far too long
a flower
blooms inside a
cave
that the miner hollowed, all wrong
for each fleeting ray of sun
a flurry of snow and freezing wind
for each glistening raindrop
a black night devoid of stars, hiding the moon
for each face remembered with fondness
a reflection tired and used, no trace of joy
for each cherished memory
a storm of instances that ought to be forgotten
a curtain
over the wall which
hides
the man in disguise
a petal
falls
for every day the world
can't
dry her eyes
