To My Inner Child

 
Hello there little one,my child within,
i wish to share with you about
where it is i've been,
and to let you know that things
are not what they seem-
that your reality somehow  
turned into my dream,
is simply the result of
things you've not yet seen.
 
I had but no choice to  
withhold from your vision,
the beautiful and true
and replace with television-
If i could but make you understand
about what we call the 'human condition'.
 
Yet all is not lost
o' sweet child of mine
despite our supposed faults and afflictions,
from the depths of rejection  
comes Light caused by friction-
'The light that maketh the man'
 
So it is you see,
that this was all meant to be,
the ground-work you laid was perfect indeed
with feet in the mud of material need-
yet longing for Love and Recognition.
 
My path is a long one
and a little i have travelled,
yet there comes a time
when a mans life unravels
and reveals the ugliness
of his lifes ambition and
makes him aware of a new path to travel.
 
This is what you have started little mate,
and it pleases me to say  
we've made good progress to date.
Yet it's definitely not
the end of the struggle
because it's a natural part of mans fate,
to do the 'duality juggle'
until the day we arrive at the masters gate.
 
meanwhile my friend,i'll stay in touch
and we can help each other
if we get into trouble,
and when we're not
we can learn to create.
