A woman's bad day

As daybreak dawns

Frost upon the lawns

The cold begins to bite

Waking up not a pretty sight

Hair tousled all over the place

She get moving at some pace

Running late once again

Having to hurry to catch her train

Knickers bra and dress

Straighten herself up, what a mess

Foundation, powder and lip gloss

Oh, dropped the nail varnish, now she's cross

A little eye-liner and pencilled brow

This repair job ready right now

Comb raked quickly through her unruly hair

Looking in the mirror to compare

High heels, oh these sling backs

Walking daintily in these, she will make little pointed tracks

Well at last she is ready to hit the road

Wait, what day is it? she screams and implodes

Darn, Sunday a day to rest

Scream, all right, got it is off her chest
