A Little House By The Water
Watch the waves crash down upon you.
Beneath the shady rocks and the burning sand.
The sun beats your tired face into the ground.
It's just the way you like it.
From the sea:
Soft words are spoken,
they drift slowly,
to put you at ease.
Toss your mind into that rushing wave you see in front of you:
no one around,
you sit and you rest,
to shut out the world.
Pretend it all went away:
Just for one moment,
you are at peace with yourself,
just like what your life always wanted,
maybe.
Now your life is set:
The loathing you feel is thrown ashore,
the hateful feeling,
danced out of you,
Soak yourself into the water:
. . . and just breathe,
It will all eventually go away.
Beneath the shady rocks and the burning sand.
The sun beats your tired face into the ground.
It's just the way you like it.
From the sea:
Soft words are spoken,
they drift slowly,
to put you at ease.
Toss your mind into that rushing wave you see in front of you:
no one around,
you sit and you rest,
to shut out the world.
Pretend it all went away:
Just for one moment,

Now your life is set:
The loathing you feel is thrown ashore,

. . . and just breathe,
It will all eventually go away.
