Endangered Hearts
Love; it confuses everything I know
at times I’m not too sure what I feel
it may be easier to say than to show
the word alone doesn’t make it real
Best to be sure all the feelings are there
when love’s first said, it starts a new fate
if the reaction’s a blank, confused stare
just one more life moment to forever hate
