Stranger
Strangers have always been such
Friendly enemies
Ive had to find new ways to cope
With these deranged dark dichotomies
Endless in the ways they bend
You can explain away just about anything in the end
Before the moments pause just long enough
For me to be disgusted
And retreat down amongst what could be called a little shelter
Bare to the wind
So how is it that you rise
Thick beyond black boaderlines
Waiting for the mildew
To cloud over and ensue
The lesson of these yesterdays
And what we all knew of you
Friendly enemies
Ive had to find new ways to cope
With these deranged dark dichotomies
Endless in the ways they bend
You can explain away just about anything in the end
Before the moments pause just long enough
For me to be disgusted
And retreat down amongst what could be called a little shelter
Bare to the wind
So how is it that you rise
Thick beyond black boaderlines
Waiting for the mildew
To cloud over and ensue
The lesson of these yesterdays
And what we all knew of you
