This day is sacred forevermore enshrined
The Origin of my love, I did find
That frame of second that can be defined
1000 different ways, 1000 times
Just one motion my hand on her waist
Sent seismic waves thru her brain
“Maybe he will fall for me someday”
“His hand could have been any other place”
I didn’t know what my actions would spawn
I’m thankful of the memories to come
What a simple gesture would bring forth
Ended up being so much more

The depth grew deeper
As sparks spawned a fire
You became all I desired
Lunches filled with laughter
Glances filled with butterflies
I was falling harder as time flew by
Those big brown eyes, and adorable lisp
Had me all caught up in, how you say?

Thru your absence these words are all I’ve got

But don’t mistake this as a dwelling on the past
It’s a tribute, to the greatest love I ever had

So much passion followed those intense lips
Hard to believe it started with Just A Kiss
The Innocence was brilliant that night
Romance so far past what movies could tell
So far past, any detail a book could spell
The magic was understated by the passion
Your body, my arms makes for a classic
I give reverence to the day we shared our stories
It was where this connection grew beyond me
I could see so much of what we could be
The life you led until that point
You and me Kelly, that was my real choice

As these frames speed me by
I slow them down with my mind
Walking thru them step by step
Not to change the butterfly effect
Even though you’ve said goodbye
I’d never erase the dates, in this timeline
If not for a single hug, a single gaze
