Flourish

I would walk the distance in my head, Ticking off each mile In my mind
As a passenger awaiting the train to carry me to places I have only dreamed of
The exam results to scared to open of grades made, Or lost
I feel the fear and trepidation as anyone else would
These scenarios I've stopped playing out
My imagination drawn back and reigned in
You're too special to speculate how things might evolve over time
I'm just clearing a path right here
To make any transition I make flow with ease
whatever the outcome
my life will improve and flourish
I will in time leave these stagnant waters
just for me it will take awhile
If I can my love, I'll take you all along for the adventure
One to last a lifetime
