My Lover and my Partner Part 2

“Come on now, love”
I say as we go deep into the countryside
“There’s a house up there
With some people inside.
We can go there,
And have some fun.”

As we put
Our masks on
My lover, my partner
Knocks on the door
As we wait for the answer.

And when no answer came,
We smashed the door in flat
And when the screams echoed
Throughout the house
We laughed, and began our fun.

A slice and a boom,
A shot to the head
With a slit throat
And their guts pouring out

We had accomplished
What we came to do
And I kissed my lover, my partner
For a job well-done,
I kissed my lover, my partner
For I loved him so

I looked down,
At the mangled up body beneath my feet
“Look at the beauty of death, love.”
“I see.”
“Look at the beauty of it all.”

And with that
We left.
As simple as that.
Back to the home
Where we lived with my parents.
After all,
For being “cold-blooded killers”
We were still only 17,
Still in need of a nice home…
