What Are You Doing To Me

Who are you and why do I care?
My life never simple but I had my ways if getting by.
Now you show up and really see who I am
Not just my naughty tendencies but the unstable person within
Your words are the first to really make me think
I stumbled into poetry over my own two feet
Your poetry is so beautiful and powerful to me
I look forward to your next write so I can have my guilty pleasures
Then I feel like I shouldn't feel this way
Feel what way?  Feel beautiful, complete, wanted, sexy, lustful, giddy
You put a smile on my face and I need that
Now I almost feel shy because of all that I have shared
My innocent face is hiding so much more
Hearts have a way of changing and distance makes them fonder
I thank you for these pleasures and for making me feel this way
