Our Superheros

A father, husband, brother
never home for supper
Using his powers
to fight aggressors

No room for a cape
Not even spandex
A strong helmet
and a Kevlar vest

Duty, something they must do
they’ll be back when we’ve won
but the stay will be short
A hero’s work is never done
