All those nights , &nb
Written by A friend and I ..
In a daze, a state of disbelief,
Her pain weighs out her pride,
Her emotions run deep,
With a pen and pencil she hides.
She has not lost all sense of hope,
For she believes in her dreams,
Some are a far stretch,
But won't be as hard as it seems.
Sometimes she feels worthless,
That it was her who messed up,
Words she should have said,
Like please god, this is enough.
Depression will hit hard,
The memories she'll feel ,
Experiences, overwhelming
But she has her friend always to heal
Her friend is there to guide her,
Along the cold, lonely way.
To be there when she crumbles,
She'll find the best things to say.
She knows this girl is strong,
And will forever stand tall,
Even if she doesn't believe,
And has her back against the wall.
Without her, this girl would be finished.
Suicidal thoughts drenched with sorrow.
Buddy never to give in,
For its her she will always follow.
Its been hard to find trust,
But found is the sidekick to release the hidden,
Her confidential novel,
Now memories to be written.
She keeps it locked away,
Tight within the page,
The place she turns to,
When she's filled with rage.
For the pages catch fire,
With each emotion placed,
Written down in pen,
With each experience faced.
Now she's free to think,
Horrifying moments fading away,
Leaving behind bridges,
A new structure always to stay.
She's moving forward,
Life is running at her fast,
Won't ever give up,
Done dreaming of the past.
Within each and every breath,
The future's in her eyes,
For she has great faith,
Through every tear she dries.
Between the battles with herself,
All the endless fights,
She'll leave them right behind her,
A silhouette of all those nights.
