Bridge of time
The icy waters beneath us
were clear and foreboding
It was still and silent
immortal as we were growing
I remember every day our shoes
set foot prints on the snow-covered sidewalk
Holding hands and walking among trees
that were like old friends who could talk
Your lips always grew cold
and they sought the heat of mine
We would stand there forever
on the bridge of time
were clear and foreboding
It was still and silent
immortal as we were growing
I remember every day our shoes
set foot prints on the snow-covered sidewalk
Holding hands and walking among trees
that were like old friends who could talk
Your lips always grew cold
and they sought the heat of mine
We would stand there forever
on the bridge of time
