Serenity Sea

Serenity Sea: Alan Foster

All day long I wish for the same thing.
It is a simple but one the day will not bring.
It is a rare occasion for one to find complete silence.
An escape from all the noise and the violence.

Everywhere I turn there is a face followed by a sound.
Maybe I will find my refuge when I am underground.
I completely understand why the absence of sound is golden.
Maybe that is the pension for someone olden.

Thankfully, on rare and unique occasions, I find peace.
A place, a sound, as beautiful as golden fleece!
Singing the harmonic tones of your waves crashing a shore.
Ever fiber with in me cries out for more, more, more.

Hypnotized by your docile tones I stare at your endless beauty.
When I die this is what I imagine Heaven will be.
A warm breeze hugging my being so tight.
I could close my eyes and dream inspirational dreams here every night!

The muscles on my frame begin to release and come to a place of rest.
There is no problem, no drama, no stress.
I sit for hours just to breathe you in.
I never want our visit to end.

I must capture enough of your scent to last.
I am afraid my return here won't be very fast.
I must say thank you for your healing and love.
You are certainly one of the greatest gifts from above.

I am reborn, renergized, and set free!
I must say thank you my serenity sea.
