My only sunshine
How can I?
How can I forgive you?
You left me when I needed you most
You left me in an ocean of fear, sadness and loss
Since your departure my life went down hill
Everyone sees me as a girl without a worry
A smile on her face
But down inside is emptiness
That was once filled by you
Every night she cries herself to sleep
She's on the verge of commiting suicide
When at last she sees her sun
Someone who was always by her side
I am still angry
I am still sad
I still cry over you
But most of the time you don't occupy my mind
That emptiness was filled with warm, happy feelings
They may be gone in the future
But not anytime soon
How can I forgive you?
You left me when I needed you most
You left me in an ocean of fear, sadness and loss
Since your departure my life went down hill
Everyone sees me as a girl without a worry
A smile on her face
But down inside is emptiness
That was once filled by you
Every night she cries herself to sleep
She's on the verge of commiting suicide
When at last she sees her sun
Someone who was always by her side
I am still angry
I am still sad
I still cry over you
But most of the time you don't occupy my mind
That emptiness was filled with warm, happy feelings
They may be gone in the future
But not anytime soon
