Look Again
And there I glanced upon you
My daily vision
All soft curves and succulent lines
Causing flesh toned visions to swirl in my mind
Of times before and this time that might become
What can I do in this moment?
Send soft, gliding hands to brush you like silk?
Or beckon with word and glance?
To spin and clutch close, locking eyes and more
Perhaps to bend so that unyielding steel my melt
Would I pull you to cover me, a writhing sheet?
Or be the sky that shields your aching earth?
Would I plant myself so that limbs twist together?
A tangled tree left shuddering from ecstasy's wind
Perhaps I would let you linger on my tongue
Speaking words you love to feel
Or submit to the sweet tongue you long to speak
Would that we speak each other
And escalating argument where ardor is the only victor
This moment as i glance upon you
My daily vision
Overwhelmed by times before and this time that might become
What can I do in this moment?
I look again, seeing it all upon you
A canvas of passion that we paint better and brighter with every brush and stroke
So I look again, because at this moment I am to spellbound to move.
