The Devil's Laugh
I've rested in this spot far too long,
I fear my demons' needs are growing strong.
I wrestle with the knife in my hand
One quick cut, my lies expand.
Now the devil takes over me
I listen to him, quite faithfully.
Maybe if I just get out a rope..
Tie it around my throat, and inhale hope.
At this time I take my last breath.
My body's a kite, flying over death.
I write this on my soul's behalf,
In the back of my mind, I hear the devil laugh.
