Infliction
**Work in Progress**
A tale of an unfortunate and terrible life,
lonely and cold evermore, with no one by my side.
Seeking out distractions just to ease my exhausted mind.
Giving into my weaknesses, just to pass meaningless time
Though the pain never heals, and i just wish to die.
Every moment seems to stand still,
I find myself counting each moment as it painfully passes by.
Nothing left to push me forward, no will to try.
broken wings aren't meant to fly.
Broken pieces of mistakes are all that remain.
Useless without purpose. Destined to fail, my fate shall never change.
So why delay? Time to Let go and fade away.

Nicely done! The first line...work in progress is a bit disturbing, does it mean you are still working on this poem?...For the rest, it has a good texture build up and the sad desolated feeling comes across
