Vale Decem
Behold, the time has come.
At last dear friends.
But don’t be sad
With tears do not weep.
With hands to clap.
With mouth to cheer.
In memory be happy.
I smile in the face of defeat.
In this death something divine.
Like blood drink,
with feast with wine.
Escort me to my slumber
Let the universe sing
Let it sing me to sleep.
My reward eternal.
My spirit, free and external.
Nether, grounded or anchored.
Free to float,
free to roam.
Free from the shackles of earthly flesh.
Free from the chains of this human bondage.
One door shuts as another door opens.
All things must come to pass.
All things must end,
So all things can begin.
A balance has been struck.
The cycle is complete.
But friends don’t be sad
