The road of broken rubble
This is the opposite of attraction
Meshed up out of two
I find myself standing in sand facing a road of equal value
Each flowing
Each a driving force
Filter the contents you find values and morals
Each you find darkness held
Just held together by sand
The wind like whispers
They carry it aloud
Who dares to listen?
To such a sound
My road way is made of rubble
Green grass to my left
Trees to my right
Such a sight to behold
My road is just concrete smashed by the hand
Who bears the hammer?
As simple sand it rose
Mixed by hands to form stone
Just to stand crumbled between the road way
In which trees block my sun
And the grass reaches for the remains
The road we follow is simple at glance
Listen to the wind and it carries the sound
Of history and beauty
Not written
But heard
The road of broken rubble
Meshed up out of two
I find myself standing in sand facing a road of equal value
Each flowing
Each a driving force
Filter the contents you find values and morals
Each you find darkness held
Just held together by sand
The wind like whispers
They carry it aloud
Who dares to listen?
To such a sound
My road way is made of rubble
Green grass to my left

Such a sight to behold
My road is just concrete smashed by the hand
Who bears the hammer?
As simple sand it rose
Mixed by hands to form stone
Just to stand crumbled between the road way
In which trees block my sun
And the grass reaches for the remains
The road we follow is simple at glance

Of history and beauty
Not written

The road of broken rubble
