Angel in Ashes
Of petals and thorns my decadence lies,
Laid down on a bed of roses.
Red satin she wears, with firey eyes.
A threat to sanity, poses.
The wave of the wrist, a fine finger curled,
Man loses all inhibition.
The power she holds, pray mercy the world,
Else, fall to decomposition.
The light from the wall, shines red on it all.
Glory finds home in the masses.
As men blankly stare, they all come aware,
to the sight of an Angel in ashes.
