Harder to say no

It’s getting harder to talk myself out of it
It’s getting harder to say no
Life is full of pain that I am supposed to just let go
No one really understands my pain
Although many claim to sympathize
I am the only one who knows
The horrors in which I lie
Will anyone ever know is not a question I pursue
I believe unless I can continue to say no
No one will ever be the wise
