The Little Boy Who Plays With Stars
(For Ethan)
To Ethan my darling soldier boy. The little boy who plays in the stars!
I love you more each day, I can’t remember what it was like without you, I could not imagine a time without you. Or a time I could not hold you so with this poem, I thank you.
You remind me of happy things when you sing, and when I am down and out of luck, you remind me that there is always time for a hug.
I see myself in your eyes, and you in mine, I have a feeling everything will turn out fine
You have an incredible journey ahead of you and it’s only just begun, the race ahead of you is going to be fun, fun, fun.
Your smile lights up the darkness in anyone heart, and you fill mine with happiness and joy.
Son, every day you amaze me, every day you teach me, along with your mum you complete me.
My little soldier boy, my little boy who plays with the stars, you gave me a purpose you gave me a reason, I love you always, my darling Ethan!
