Nay my love, let us not speak of that,
That rabbit hole of heart and confinement.
Let us simply lay entwined with one-another
Defenceless: Fingertips replacing the unspoken.
We need not bring about us thorny barriers, nor
Let words do their inevitable damage.
May it just be always you and I, peaceful,
Our actions far louder than mischievous lines.
Captivity, I am sure, will do us nothing but harm:
Like a caged Lion left to gaze through glass,
The Heart, Soul and Love slowly slipping away
As sure and unstoppable as the sand in the timer.
    So nay my love, no words, just amorous entwinement
    For in that glorious sphere we are free and unhindered.
