Paws For Thought
I wish i could speak with my cats and for them to understand me
I'd tell them not to kill other creatures but if they felt the need to kill
Then to do it quickly and not torture them first
And to put the remains in the bin!
I really don't want to wake up anymore with the dead on my patio
Or worse my kitchen floor or bed!
I'd rather not say Oh for me! that's very kind I'll eat it later
While picking the lifeless corpse up by foot or tail or entrails depending what's left! and placing in the bin
I'd tell the two toms to play nice with their sister as she is losing fur rapidly with the stress of it she is not a toy
Though summer is here so she's probably the coolest stressed out cat in the area
And the 8 month old to stop trying to mount his older brother, Its just not right
He now sleeps with one eye open and now needs counselling
I'd tell them to wipe there paws before walking on the white tiled floor
I'd tell them tea time is 5pm not 8am till 10pm or any other time not mentioned
I'd tell them not to walk lay or play with the keyboard when I'm using it and the mouse isn't real don't torture it
I'd tell the older tom to stop trying to stare me out even if it is tea time its spooking me
I'd tell the younger tom to not play on my van I've checked the paw prints I know its you
I'd tell them to please leave the snakes alone even if they do taste like chicken
And next doors fish koi carp might look tasty but we live here too
But most of all I'd tell them that I loved them
I think they already know
I'd tell them not to kill other creatures but if they felt the need to kill
Then to do it quickly and not torture them first
And to put the remains in the bin!
I really don't want to wake up anymore with the dead on my patio
