"Apprehension"

"Apprehension"

A candle lit sitting on a dusted shelf, shadows possessions of a room.
While sliced up photographs and ashes awaits to see the broom.
A bowl of cinnamon water and orange peel fragrances your senses, as you sit staring at nothing, feeling apprehensive.
Your pet cat marks your hanging foot, with its loving and whisker affection and stares down deep into your face, trying to get your attention.
There's sounds that are coming from all over the place...the AC, the icebox, and Ugh! The TV.
The cat starts to meow and lets out a growl, you get up to feed it, even though he doesn't need it.
You pick up the broom and go the room, where the ashes and photos are waiting. On the TV you hear, mens voices you fear, in the middle of debating.
The cat goes outside, the TVs turned off, the candles blown out, the smoke makes you cough.
You go sit in your chair without any care and all seems to be well in this dwelling of hell!
