before savage chaos breaks out?
What fiends held at bay by the light
would ravage the world at night?
People could hide and perish or
join in the senseless destruction.
Give in to their hidden desires
and urges before the pitiful end.
Unspeakable acts commited under
the cloak of perpetual darkness.
