We make History

Into a shadowy existence we spew
Stars shooting a crosses the sky
leaving a trial of dust
from a long forgotten time

footprints left behind from a young planet
it's History lived out in books and in peoples minds
leaving use wondering
where it all has gone
and what's happened to all the time?

The answer is simple
everything changes
everything dies
everything has an ending
but do remember
everything takes time
to aging, decay, young minds growing, and a nation brewing
for Rome was not built in a day
the Titanic took longer then a few second to sink
and the Earth took a year to do a full turn

We live out History everyday, for we make History every step of the way.
