Willow's Creek
There once was a girl at the age of 13. Her father was a drunk who beat her always and her mother died from giving birth of her. “It’s all your fault!” her father always screamed at her after he had beaten her. He never named her instead he hated her. The girl with no name always ran away in tears. After a beating she runs away to her special place. That special place was the creek with a Willow tree. She sits and cries under the safety of the trees branches. She knows she’d soon have to go back or face her father beyond drunk. As she trudged home her heart in the mud, her eyes once bright now dull. Before she even got to the door her father kicked it open and threw a beer can at her. “Why are you here?” his voice slurred. She did not answer for if she said one word he would beat her. Her head was held down her eyes streaming new tears all she could feel was fear. Her father tipped down the steps and grabbed a handful of her hair pulling her head back. Screaming in pain and fear the girl with no name had nowhere to run. Her father smacked her so hard her head gave a small crack. He dropped her to the ground and started kicking her. The girl with no name slowly crawled away. Trying to escape the pain. Somehow she got up and ran. Ran to the creek. For she was very slow her father raced after her quickly. The girl fell under the Willow tree too weak to do anything. Her face was staring up at the moon and the stars. She couldn’t feel anything, she was so numb. Her father got to her and sat on top if her. Punching and screaming at her face he was having a lot of fun. She was bleeding through her nose, mouth, and ears she was now totally gone. After he had finish the father broke down into tears. Barley drunk he realized what he’d done. He screamed to nobody, “Why?!” He later buried her under the Willow tree on the creek. Buried her right where he killed her. He wrote a note on the tree in case anyone ever found this creek. “Here lies a girl who was beaten by a drunk. She died right here in this very spot. Just so you know this creek is named after the girl and her tree. It is named, Willow’s Creek.”
