in my dream last night
you needed me
you kissed me
and said everything was okay
it was beautiful and pure
and we were together again
I said - you know you're killing me
please say this is real and true
so real - I can taste your lips
but now...
it's just another morning

Succinct. The depth isn't as shallow as your words, but I like the subject and the notion you convey is fathomable. Great write

Thanks, Alecia. I just sort of jotted this down the same morning I had this snippet of a dream. I'm sure I didn't adequately capture or convey the feeling that this left me with (especially having re-read it now at this later time). But, I really wanted to get it down in order to make a point of being able to recall it again.
